The primary principle of Cattolica Investment Club is the idea that learning should be shared. We believe in a culture of continuous growth and knowledge promulgation within our university. Our members engage in writing informative articles in the fields of corporate finance, market dynamics, portfolio management and taxation. These articles do not only serve as a way to enhance our own learning, but also as a means to educate, inform and inspire colleagues interested in the world of finance.
Furthermore by joining the club you will have the possibility to experience our events and partnerships with finance leading firms.
OPPORTUNITIES
At Cattolica Investment Club, we offer positions to suit different interests and career goals. Whether you’re passionate about portfolio management, interested in the fast changing markets or passionate about corporate finance, we offer roles to challenge you hands on!
For those of you with an attitude towards portfolio management, the PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT DIVISION will provide you with experience in managing investments.
If you’re more inclined towards trading and market analysis, our MARKETS DIVISION is the place to be.
Associates in the CORPORATE FINANCE DIVISION, will dive into financial analysis and strategy.
Our FISCAL DIVISION analyzes the role of policies and discusses their impact on the economy.
In addition to our finance-oriented divisions, we’re also seeking passionate individuals to join our team as DIGITAL, MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT associates. If you have a flair for social media and digital marketing, this role allows you to craft our online presence and share our knowledge with a wider audience.
YOUR UNIQUE STRENGTHS
Associate for Digital, Marketing and Social Media Management:
- B2/C1 English proficiency;
- Proficiency in content management;
- Knowledge of keyword research;
- Communication skills;
- Ability to deliver creative content.
Associate for Portfolio Management Division:
- B2/C1 English proficiency;
- Basic knowledge of Macroeconomics;
- Having passed Microeconomics exam;
- Interest in the Stock Market;
- Willing to learn the basics of Stock Market Analysis.
Associate for Corporate Finance Division:
- B2/C1 English proficiency;
- Business background: IB Business Management or, having passed Principles of Management – Accounting exam (Economia Aziendale – Bilancio);
- Basic knowledge of Statistics (high school knowledge);
- Interest in Financial Analysis (accounts and/or derivatives).
Associate for Markets Division:
- B2/C1 English proficiency;
- Business background: IB Business or Economics or, having passed Microeconomics exam;
- Interest in Macroeconomics, especially in the analysis of key Financial Markest Developments and Trends.
Associate for Fiscal Division:
- B2/C1 English proficiency;
- Business background: IB Business or Economics or, having passed Microeconomics exam;
- Interest in Macroeconomics, especially in the analysis of key differences between countries and their fiscal policies.
OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The Cattolica Investment Club recruitment process is structured as follows:
1. Application: Submit your CV and cover letter, showcasing your motivation and skills.
2. Written Task: Selected candidates will receive a research topic from division heads and must produce a 300-word paper.
3. Interview: After submitting the paper, successful candidates will be invited to an interview to discuss their interest in the Club.
4. Membership: If the interview goes well, you will officially become a member of the Cattolica Investment Club.
